Today I want to tell you about a movie that I watched last week. The title is “The Billionaire”. Maybe some of you already know this movie because it is quite famous.
This movie is from Thailand and based on true story. The main character is Top Ittipat. He is a young boy who really likes playing online games. When he was 16 years old, he always played games, even at school during class. Because of that, his grades were not really good.
When he became 17 years old, he decided to stop school. Then he wanted to help his family by making business. First, he sold roasted peanuts with his uncle, but sadly the business failed. I think he felt very sad at that time.
After that, his family had many problems because they had a lot of debt. His parents moved to China, but Top stayed alone in Thailand because he still wanted to continue his business.
One day, he tried to sell fried seaweed snack called Tao Kae Noi. At first, he sold it in a small mall. Then he wanted to sell it in 7-Eleven stores, but many people rejected him. Even though many people said no, he never gave up.
He tried to change the packaging and make the snack better. Finally, someone from 7-Eleven liked his snack, but they said he needed a real factory first. So Top changed his office into a factory and worked very hard.
In the end, his business became successful. He could pay all his family’s debt and buy back their house. I think that part is very touching and amazing.
I really like this movie because it teaches us to never give up and always work hard for our dreams. Even though Top failed many times, he still tried again and again.
I am still 14 years old, but after watching this movie, I feel very inspired. It makes me want to work hard and make my parents proud in the future too.
I watched this movie with my sister at Blitz Megaplex because at that time it was not available in XXI yet. After watching this movie, I felt very motivated.
For me, “The Billionaire” is one of the best inspirational movies that I have ever watched. I hope Indonesia can also make movies like this in the future.
